no soporta colores , por este precio deberia de cantarme hasta la cucaracha. no recomendale
It works, but its nearly featureless. Not worth the fiver.
App doesn’t work. What a waste of $5. I found a free app that actually works. If I could have rated Zero stars, I would have.
This app does not support ios dynamic type for larger font sizes and the largest font size built into the app is still much too small for most visually impaired users, making the app entirely unusable even for the visually impaired person who simply needs a larger font size and doesn't use magnification or screen readers
App is not working on iPhone X. Keyboard does not show. Can’t type messages. Useless. Please fix!
Errr the keyboard no longer comes up in the latest version
Happy to see this app get an update and get a background reconnect feature.
Love LimeChat (also use it on macOS). The only thing I would love to see is support for hardware keyboards (like on the iPad Pro) - for some reason the chat pane scrolls up even though no soft keyboard is displayed or desired.
Without Notification it is useless!
Have had this app for a year or so, my only problem with it so far has been not having background refresh as a thing, even of you gotta charge 99 cents for it as an in app purchase id buy it, its a very needed feature and this is the best irc app on ios that ive seen.
Love the simplicity of it but really wish they had a dark theme. Including background would be awesome :) Keep up the good work!
This app is great, save for the fact that a connection drops if the app is in the background, rendering it useless for me. Update the app with the option for background connectivity (without a time limit that drops connection) and its 5 stars from me.
When connecting to ZNC, the appropriate server status is shown, and private messages are passed, but the channels joined do not open in Limechat. Unusable app for me
It it's a great app, but there are still few servers!
Elegant, simple, minimal. My only request is autocompletion of usernames.
I bought this program and I like it but, if you don't get background app refresh to work I might have to keep on working on my own IRC client, which basically works, but a lot to do for one person. However it never stays connected in the background so do that or I'll be forced to waste my time on a project I don't want to work on for a lack of a good ios IRC client
Very sleek and efficient. I have used this for a long time and have always loved it. I wish there were more commands for the user-list, but that is not a big problem. If you want a clean, straightforward and efficient IRC app, use this. Other apps are more technical and advanced, but this one has been the most reliable and well performing.
On my iPhone 6 when the screen locks the connection to the server drops when other connections to other servers in other apps stay up.
It appears that the only way to find/join a channel is to painfully scroll down a listing of thousands of channels. No search feature.
The best mobile irc app hands down!!
There seems to be a problem with the latest version when using an external bluetooth keyboard, at least in landscape mode on iPad -- the input area moves up (and the chat area shrinks) to make room for an on-screen keyboard that never shows up. Otherwise it seems to work pretty well, except that connections time out in the background pretty aggressively.
ZNC now works more or less (sometimes I get the same playback) but otherwise the best irc app available and I've tried all of them. Worth the price.
when connecting to a zinc bouncer there is no channel list (ipad only)
Greatest app for IRC!
This thing disconnects if you let your screen turn off or even switch to a different application. Totally useless on my iPad Air running iOS 7.1.
...But when I do, it's because the App is amazing. Ok, this might be the most expensive IRC App currently available, but it's beautiful and works like a charm. I love the layout on my iPhone and my iPad. Simply great!
Love it
everything is where you'd think it'd be and works how you think it'd work except it does NOT get along with multitasking.
I love this app, I've been using it for a year or so. It's decent and easy to use. The only con about is if only it has a feature where it doesn't disconnect you. It gets annoying using limechat and then after going to safari it's been disconnected.
Do not waste your money.
Great app, love the version for OS X so I dropped the 5$ for this one. Looks great with iOS7 and is pretty customizable. Nice animations/buttons/icon
Basically it's a good app, but some important features are missing: 1. No Tab key or other way to select another nick. 2. No way to hide annoying join/quit etc messages. 3. No easy way to perform basic commands like /me
I downloaded lime chat for irc chat at a w3c meeting. It was unreliable, working intermittently. I have tried to get it working properly and have not succeeded.
Good looking, lightweight irc client. Only one that's worth it on the App Store.
LimeChat provides a great IRC experience on iOS. It's great that the service is still given this attention to detail.
It has a nice, uncluttered GUI, nice alerting systen, and very very stable and light resource usage. I'd recommend this client to anyone. J do wish it was updated a little more though! ^.^ It's very... Basic. It could use just a tad more features. =w=
Sasl works all the time unlike other irc iOS apps. Use osx limechat as well. Quite pleased.
Without my phone being able to vibrate in my pocket and let me know someone has contacted me this app is almost useless for $5. I see some other people have mentioned this as well so hopefully this will be fixed soon and I can change my rating. Other than that it's a pretty solid irc app.
I have used full featured irc clients like mIRC. This product is bare bones and unable to connect. No help or explanation for fields and entering same info as my other irc products does not work. Hours lost. I installed irc999 and used it to figure out setup with useful messages. Better interface here.
If you want to chat over IRC, them this app does just fine. If you want to do anything else, then the app is insufficient. Cut and paste is not so hot; you can't select what you want to cut. File transfers or even going to an fserve (ctcp)...not an option. For a $5 app, I would have expected a LOT more.
This is great just what I needed. I started to freak when I seen the server list and didn't see an add button. Between the word server and the arrow you can type in your server. I didn't know this right away. And I use to write scripts for mIRC. HA! I love it and I'm planning to keep it. That's for making such a great app. Keep up the good work.
Totally blows other IRC apps out of the water. The design and options are intuitive, convenient, and useful. Although the price may be high, it's worth it and is a good buy for an experienced user of IRC. New users may be a little confused, but an online IRC tutorial would clear up some of the questions a new user might have. It's a five-star app at the moment, but I would love to see colors implemented, possibly some basic scripting, and a better copy/paste system. Other than that, this app is money well spent.
This is a nice app, but it need colors in the text, the channel I use the mods has color text so people can see whet they said
no soporta colores , por este precio deberia de cantarme hasta la cucaracha. no recomendale
* Hands down destroys the buggy new version of Colloquy in all but a few ways. * Copy and paste doesn't seem to work from chat window. Highly annoying. * You have to click+hold on nicks in chat and select paste username. No nick autocomplete. Prefer the way Colloquy implements this. * Needs swipe gesture to switch between channels / PMs * Wish it auto changed your nick to preferred nick once it is available like Colloquy. It's annoying to be nick_ upon peer reset.
Good start it but it looks like a lot of work still needs to be done. It is worth the price of admission none the less.
I had already bought this once to replace another irc app when the first one disappeared. Now that the first one has come back this one is gone and now I can't download it unless I pay for it again? What's up with that?
This app is great for the user whom wishes to unleash their mobile device while using IRC. If a person doesn't know what IRC is and how to implement it, then try an app that requires no brains from the user. Read RFC 1459.
This app works great. It has a few minor issues, but don't all apps? Well this app works best for using irc chat, i've tried many apps and this defiantly works the best.
If you know how to use IRC, you'll feel right at home with this app. The UI makes sense. There's support for SSL, nickserv, auto-joining, and other things you might not expect.
